- Munich, DE
Won TCHOI - Barrington IL, US
Jilei TIAN - Chicago IL, US
Marko WERNER - Chicago IL, US
International Classification:
G01C 21/34
Abstract:
Embodiments relate to a method, a computer program and a device for controlling a route connecting a plurality of destinations in a road network. The method for controlling a route connecting a plurality of destinations in a road network comprises receiving input information. The input information comprises information about a situation with impact on the route. Furthermore, the method comprises recalculating a plurality of travel times between the plurality of destinations of the route, based on the received input information and distances between the plurality of destinations. Also, the method comprises providing output information about the recalculation, which comprises information about a dynamic change of the route.

Dialog System Capable Of Semantic-Understanding Mapping Between User Intents And Machine Services

View page
US Patent:
20210249001, Aug 12, 2021
Filed:
May 7, 2018
Appl. No.:
17/053621
Inventors:
- Muenchen, DE
Jilei TIAN - Chicago IL, US
International Classification:
G10L 15/18
G06N 3/04
G10L 15/26
G10L 15/16
Abstract:
A dialog system and intelligent personal assistant capable of semantic-understanding mapping between user intents and machine services includes an interface to receive a voice or text request from a user. Semantics of the request including at least one of entities, intent, or context are extracted from the user's request. A sequence of action features is selected based on the extracted semantics. A sequence of application programming interfaces (APIs) corresponding to the sequence of action features is then executed to generate a result. An action sequence optimizer may optimize the sequence of action features based on user configuration. The examples provide a technical solution to model a richer semantic-understanding mapping between user intents and available APIs, that will be greatly improving user experience in the spoken dialogue system, as core of personal assistant.

Predicted Destination By User Behavior Learning

View page
US Patent:
20210239479, Aug 5, 2021
Filed:
Jan 30, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/776617
Inventors:
- Muenchen, DE
Jilei TIAN - Chicago IL, US
International Classification:
G01C 21/34
G06N 5/04
G05B 13/02
G01C 21/32
G01C 21/36
B60H 1/00
Abstract:
A system, method and non-transitory computer-readable medium for predicting a trip destination of a user based on user behavior learning are provided. Historical behaviors and a target behavior of the user are received from a feature processing layer, and the received historical behaviors and the target behavior are embedded with features including a time and a location to produce a context modeling layer. A user modeling layer is produced by embedding the context modeling layer. A trip destination is predicted based on historical trip data and target trip data in the user modeling layer.

Hybrid Policy Dialogue Manager For Intelligent Personal Assistants

View page
US Patent:
20210124805, Apr 29, 2021
Filed:
Oct 23, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/661591
Inventors:
- Muenchen, DE
Jilei TIAN - Chicago IL, US
International Classification:
G06F 17/28
G10L 15/22
G10L 15/06
G10L 15/26
Abstract:
A method for providing responsive actions to user inputs in a multi-domain context includes receiving, by a speech-based user interface, a first speech input from a user and converting said first speech input into a text-based representation of the first speech input. A natural language processor processes the text-based representation to determine an intent, entity and internal state of the first speech input. The method further includes determining, by a model-based module based on the intent, entity and internal state, a first data processing policy to apply to the first speech input, wherein the first data processing policy is either a rules-based data processing policy applied by a rules-based module or a statistical model-based data processing policy applied by the model-based module. The first responsive action is generated by the determined first data processing module, and outputted via the speech-based user interface and/or a machine interface.

Method, Device, Cloud Service, System, And Computer Program For Smart Parking A Connected Vehicle

View page
US Patent:
20210019671, Jan 21, 2021
Filed:
Jun 18, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/975471
Inventors:
- Muenchen, DE
Alvin CHIN - Chicago IL, US
Qing LI - Chicago IL, US

International Classification:
G06Q 10/02
G08G 1/14
H04W 4/021
H04W 4/02
G06Q 30/02
Abstract:
A method for smart parking a connected vehicle is disclosed. The method determines a destination of a user's vehicle based on the user's input or historic travel data of the user. The method receives information on available parking spots in a predefined area near the user's destination based on a parking database. The method receives an input to reserve a desired parking spot among the available parking spots. The method initiates an online check-in of the reserved parking spot in the parking database.
