Method, Apparatus And System For Multi Peer To Peer Services

View page
US Patent:
20070274233, Nov 29, 2007
Filed:
May 24, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/753481
Inventors:
Amnon Ptashek - San Diego CA, US
Balaji Tamirisa - San Diego CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 12/28
H04L 12/56
US Classification:
370254, 370401
Abstract:
Methods and systems for techniques to enable multi peer-to-peer services are described. Terminals are enabled to recognize their peer terminals and create multipoint to multipoint peer to peer services in each of the related network protocol layers. Presence and recognition of the peers can be done by means of pre-configuration, the use of control points configuration, or any Ad-Hoc mechanism. Once a multipoint to multipoint peer to peer network is created, a set of applications and services may be utilized.

Methods And System For Generating A Waveform For Transmitting Data To A Plurality Of Receivers And For Decoding The Received Waveform

US Patent:
20170093607, Mar 30, 2017
Filed:
Sep 25, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/865032
Inventors:
- Austin TX, US
AMIN ABDEL KHALEK - Austin TX, US
YUN BAI - Austin TX, US
BALAJI TAMIRISA - Austin TX, US
Assignee:
FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR, INC. - Austin TX
International Classification:
H04L 27/34
H04J 13/00
H04L 27/26
H04J 11/00
H04J 13/20
Abstract:
Methods and a system are described for generating a waveform for transmitting data over a channel divided into a plurality of adjacent frequency subcarriers. One method includes receiving a plurality of data bits, each destined for a different receiver of a plurality of receivers. For each received data bit, the method further includes coding the data bit using a unique spreading code of a first set of spreading codes to generate a corresponding group of multiple copies of a data symbol. Additionally, the groups of data symbols, corresponding to the plurality of data bits, are interleaved to generate a sequence of interleaved data symbols, and the sequence of interleaved data symbols is mapped to the plurality of adjacent frequency subcarriers to generate a waveform symbol.

Low Interference Cellular Data Commnunication In Unlicensed Frequency Spectrum

View page
US Patent:
20160381563, Dec 29, 2016
Filed:
Jun 29, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/753730
Inventors:
- Austin TX, US
Natraj Ekambaram - Austin TX, US
Balaji Tamirisa - Austin TX, US
International Classification:
H04W 16/14
H04W 56/00
H04W 72/04
Abstract:
A cellular base station communicates data using both the licensed and unlicensed frequency spectrums. For each interval of a set of intervals (such as intervals corresponding to communication of LTE frames), the base station first identifies whether signaling is detected on a specified unlicensed frequency channel (UFC). If a signal is detected, the base station communicates data only over a licensed frequency channel (LFC) for the interval, and does not employ the UFC for the interval. If no signal is detected, the base station communicates data over the interval on both the LFC and the UFC. To ensure that other devices have the opportunity to use the UFC in a timely fashion, the base station communicates data over the UFC for only a portion of the interval.
