Device For Loading And Unloading Pallets

View page
US Patent:
57826021, Jul 21, 1998
Filed:
Jan 25, 1996
Appl. No.:
8/591362
Inventors:
Zersis M. Mehta - Hialeah FL
Robert M. Stone - Tucson AZ
Assignee:
ECOA Hydraulic Lifts, Inc. - Hialeah FL
International Classification:
B66B 700
US Classification:
414672
Abstract:
A device for stacking and unstacking loads has a base made up of an upright housing and a pair of spaced, parallel outriggers extending from the housing. Vertical guide rods are mounted on the exterior of the housing, and a platform assembly is movable up-and-down on the guide rods. In its lowermost position, the platform assembly sits on the ground between the outriggers. The platform assembly comprises a carrier, a platform on the carrier having a circular opening, a turntable mounted on the carrier within the opening, and a braking system for the turntable. The platform is movable up-and-down with respect to the turntable. When the platform assembly is in a raised position, the platform is located below the turntable and the braking system is disengaged. The platform rises to the level of the turntable, and the braking system engages, in response to arrival of the platform assembly at ground level. The platform automatically sinks below the turntable, and the braking system is automatically disengaged, as the platform assembly is raised.

Abstract:
A beverage dispenser configured for servicing from the front. A front cover is coupled to a cabinet and positionable in open and closed positions. A housing is positioned in an interior of the cabinet and supports cartridges containing ingredients for dispensing a beverage. The housing at least partially defines a cavity within the interior of the cabinet. An electronics box is configured for coupling to the cabinet in an operating position within the cavity and also in a service position in front of the housing. The cavity is accessible from the front of the cabinet when the front cover is in the open position and the electronics box is in the service position.

Lever-Actuated Switch Systems For Beverage Dispensers

View page
US Patent:
20210316983, Oct 14, 2021
Filed:
Mar 23, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/209713
Inventors:
- Osseo MN, US
- Atlanta GA, US
Zersis Mehta - Atlanta GA, US
Jeff Neaves - Decatur GA, US
Assignee:
Cornelius, Inc. - Osseo MN
The Coca-Cola Company - Atlanta GA
International Classification:
B67D 1/12
Abstract:
A switch system for controlling dispensing from a dispensing system. A frame is coupleable to the dispensing system and has a front and back. A lever extends between a pivot and pressing ends and is pivotally coupled to the frame, being pivotable between dispensing and non-dispensing positions. A resilient member between the lever and the back of the frame extends between an anchor and a contact region. The anchor region is coupled to the frame and the contact region is closer than the anchor region to the lever. A roller is pivotally coupled to the contact region. The resilient member biases the lever towards the non-dispensing position via the roller. An electronic switch is between the lever and the back of the frame. The electronic switch is actuated to cause dispensing when the lever is pivoted into the dispensing position.
