System And Method To Heat And Dispense Water

View page
US Patent:
20050274738, Dec 15, 2005
Filed:
May 26, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/855583
Inventors:
Steven Tomsic - Phoenix AZ, US
Justin Lydon - Queen Creek AZ, US
International Classification:
B67D005/56
US Classification:
222129400
Abstract:
A system () and method to heat and dispense water () at one of a lower pressure and a higher pressure. Low-pressure unheated water () is heated to become low-pressure heated water (), which then passes through a normally open solenoid valve () to arrive at a spout (). If a pressure-control device () is open or not affixed to the spout (), then the spout () dispenses the low-pressure heated water (). If the pressure-control device () is closed or affixed to the spout (), then the low-pressure heated water () is inhibited from passing through the spout (), and the pressure at a pressure sensor () is substantially the lower pressure. In this case, the normally open solenoid valve () is closed and a normally closed solenoid valve () is opened. The low-pressure heated water () then passes through the now-open normally closed solenoid valve () and to a pump (), where it becomes a high-pressure heated water (), which is then dispensed by the spout ().
