Portable Roller Press

View page
US Patent:
20110252939, Oct 20, 2011
Filed:
Oct 14, 2009
Appl. No.:
13/124187
Inventors:
Stephen Nabity - Elkhorn NE, US
Bryan Hunter - Round Rock TX, US
Peter Kaltenbach - Austin TX, US
Henric Jentz - Austin TX, US
Assignee:
TEK INDUSTRIES, INC. - Fremont NE
International Classification:
B26F 1/42
US Classification:
83859
Abstract:
A portable roller press that includes a base frame having a pair of opposing stanchions, a drive roller assembly having upper and lower rollers extending between and rotatably mounted to the stanchions, a pair of opposing wings that are hingedly coupled to the base frame and selectively movable between open and closed positions, and an idler roller rotatably mounted to each of the wings. The wings have recessed portions that together substantially enclose the drive roller assembly when the wings are in closed positions. Additionally, when the wings are in their closed positions, the idler rollers are contained in a void space between the upper and lower rollers. The wings can be substantially hollow and arc configured for holding and transporting items therein.

Die Cut With Common Blades

US Patent:
20120272802, Nov 1, 2012
Filed:
Sep 28, 2010
Appl. No.:
13/498357
Inventors:
Stephen Nabity - Elkhorn NE, US
Andrea Ronning - Ponca NE, US
Assignee:
TEK INDUSTRIES, INC. - Fremont NE
International Classification:
B26F 1/44
B26D 3/00
US Classification:
83 55, 83656
Abstract:
The present invention is generally directed to a die cut assembly for a roller die cutting machine having a base member, a cutting rule, and a compressible top layer. Base member is generally a rectangular shape, having a length, to width and thickness. A cutting rule including a cutting edge is formed into a pattern containing a plurality of geometric shapes. The pattern containing geometric shapes is formed to include each geometric shape sharing a common point when the shape allows it. Cutting rule is generally coupled to the base member at a skew wherein no side of the pattern is transverse to the length of the base member. The compressible top layer is coupled to the base member. Generally, cutting rule nests in compressible top layer and compressible top layer extends beyond the cutting edge of the cutting rule.

Roller Cutting Machine

View page
US Patent:
56472609, Jul 15, 1997
Filed:
Sep 29, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/536801
Inventors:
Stephen W. Nabity - Fremont NE
International Classification:
B26D 727
B26D 514
US Classification:
8352212
Abstract:
A roller die cutting machine includes a base having a drive roller assembly generally centered thereon between opposing side edges. A first table is located between the drive roller assembly and the first side edge to support a die assembly, and a second table is supported on the base opposite the first table to support a die assembly. A crank is connected through a set of gears to the pressure roller to rotate the pressure roller and to draw a die assembly through the drive roller assembly, to thereby cut stock positioned on the die assembly. A cover on the drive roller assembly includes a pair of inwardly projecting lips which will contact the pressure roller and produce an audible sound as a consumer's hand approaches the cutting location of the pressure roller.
