Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of N-cyclopentyl-5′-(N-ethyl)carboxamidoadenosine (DTI-0009) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof in the treatment of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter in a human. Especially an acute attack of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter is treated by the method of this invention.
