US Patent:
20210394595, Dec 23, 2021
Filed:
Oct 23, 2019
Appl. No.:
17/288012
Inventors:
- Aurora, CA
Ryan Robert WARPUP - Orion MI, US
David Wayne CUMMINGS - Clinton Township MI, US
Sten Ermond BURRIS - Oxford MI, US
International Classification:
B60J 5/06
Abstract:
A system for opening and closing a sliding vehicle door includes a vehicle door that engages with the body in the closed position. A longitudinal track is fixedly mounted to an interior of the vehicle door. A hinged bracket is fixedly mounted to the vehicle body adjacent an opening defined by the vehicle body. The hinged bracket has a laterally compressed shape when the door is closed, and expands laterally outward when the door is opened. The door and the track fixed thereto slide longitudinally along the opened hinged bracket when the door is opened. The interface between the hinged bracket and the track remains at the same generally location relative to the vehicle body, and shifts relative to the vehicle door when the door is opened.

US Patent:
20150034575, Feb 5, 2015
Filed:
Mar 13, 2013
Appl. No.:
14/384294
Inventors:
Ryan Robert Warpup - Troy MI, US
Mark Francis Werner - LaSalle, CA
Eric Anthony Powrozek - Warren MI, US
Peter Mykolaj Szadyr - Lake Orion MI, US
David Wayne Cummings - Macomb Township MI, US
International Classification:
H01L 31/042
F24J 2/52
H01L 31/05
US Classification:
211 411
Abstract:
A mounting structure for a solar panel assembly, having a plurality of solar panels, includes a plurality of vertical support legs and a grid assembly. The grid assembly includes a plurality of north-south members and the east-west members. The plurality of north-south members include a plurality of elongated slots to allow attachment to the vertical support legs despite any manufacturing tolerances that may exist in the components. The plurality of east-west members include a plurality of elongated slots to allow attachment to the north-south members despite any manufacturing tolerances that may exist in the components.

Solar Panel Assembly With A Mounting Structure

US Patent:
20140230886, Aug 21, 2014
Filed:
Oct 12, 2012
Appl. No.:
14/346762
Inventors:
Mark F. Werner - LaSalle, CA
Zachary A. Marten - Rochester Hills MI, US
Peter M. Szadyr - Lake Orion MI, US
Ryan R. Warpup - Troy MI, US
International Classification:
H01L 31/042
US Classification:
136251
Abstract:
A solar assembly is provided for harnessing solar rays and generating electricity. The solar assembly includes at least one vertical leg extending in a vertical direction and having an upper attachment end. The assembly also includes at least one north-south rail and a plurality of east-west rails extending generally transversely to the north-south rail. A curved member interconnects the vertical leg with the north-south rail and extends through an arcuate shape. The solar assembly also includes a plurality of generally flat arrays of solar panels, such as photovoltaic panels, are coupled to the east-west members. The orientation of the solar panels relative to a base or the ground is dependent on the location along the curved member of the connection with the vertical leg.
