Systems And Methods For Monitoring Ablation Antenna Movement

View page
US Patent:
20230020183, Jan 19, 2023
Filed:
Jan 21, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/785533
Inventors:
- Mansfield MA, US
Ryan S. Sohlden - Lyons CO, US
International Classification:
A61B 18/18
Abstract:
A system for performing a microwave ablation procedure includes an ablation probe, a tracking system for tracking a position and orientation of the ablation probe, and a computing device. The computing device is configured to receive the position and orientation data of the ablation probe from the tracking system, display a graphical representation of the ablation probe on a display based on the received position and orientation data of the ablation probe, filter axial shift data from the position and orientation data of the ablation probe corresponding to axial movement of the ablation probe along a trajectory axis, and generate an alert based on the filtered axial shift data.

Systems And Methods For Generating And Displaying A Study Of A Stream Of In-Vivo Images

US Patent:
20210345865, Nov 11, 2021
Filed:
Oct 19, 2019
Appl. No.:
17/286641
Inventors:
- Yoqneam, IL
Dori Peleg - Kiryat Bialik, IL
Orit Elkayam - Givat Ela, IL
Eva Niv - Hadera, IL
Iddo Ambor - Binyamina, IL
Sherry L. Fox - Sugar Hill GA, US
Ryan S. Sohlden - Lyons CO, US
International Classification:
A61B 1/04
A61B 1/00
G06T 7/00
Abstract:
Systems and methods may display and/or provide analysis of a number of selected images of a patients gastrointestinal tract collected in-vivo by a swallowable capsule. Images may be displayed for review (e.g., as a study) and/or for further analysis by a user. A subset of images representing the stream of images and automatically selected according to a first selection method may be displayed. On user input, additional images corresponding to a currently displayed image may be displayed, where the additional images are automatically selected according to a second selection method. The second selection method may be based on a relation between images of the stream of in-vivo images and the currently displayed image.

A61B 5/055
A61B 6/03
A61B 8/00
A61B 34/10
A61B 18/18
Abstract:
The visualization method includes displaying three-dimensional image data of at least one anatomical feature of a patient, receiving user input of the target for placing an ablation needle in the at least one anatomical feature of the patient, determining the position and orientation of the ablation needle based on the user input, displaying an image of a virtual ablation needle in the three-dimensional image data of the at least one anatomical feature of the patient according to the determined position and orientation, receiving user input of parameters of operating the ablation needle, and displaying a three-dimensional representation of the result of operating the ablation needle according to the input parameters.
