Abstract:
A game based upon the religious novel Pilgrim's Progress in which spiritual and moral values are an integral part thereof. A game board is divided into two sections of play and displays a path of travel, as in Pilgrim's Progress, along which the participants each move a marker, with progress along the path being determined by the turn of a spinner/compass, having two levels governing play over the two sections of the display path, or by a pair of dice, governing the direction and duration of diversions from the main path. There are corresponding sets of question and answer cards, with the question cards containing a biblical quotation with key words deleted therefrom and possible answer words provided therebelow, and with the answer cards indicating the correct words to be filled into the quotation. Winners are determined in two ways. One winner is the one whose marker first reaches the end point after traversing the entire path.
