Computer Printable Jigsaw Puzzle

View page
US Patent:
7815190, Oct 19, 2010
Filed:
Jun 4, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/757974
Inventors:
Robert F. Krisch - Beechhurst NY, US
Richard Hinchey - Manhasset NY, US
International Classification:
A63F 9/10
US Classification:
273157R
Abstract:
A jigsaw puzzle has a blank and computer-printable face. The jigsaw puzzle has a thick substrate which forms a thick substrate sheet. The thick substrate sheet has been die-cut, into thick puzzle pieces. The thick puzzle pieces are joined together by uncut lands between the thick puzzle pieces. The cuts and said lands are in such proportions as to allow users to separate the thick puzzle pieces from each other. The thick substrate is at least 0. 020″ thick.

Synthesis Of Zeolite Beta

View page
US Patent:
51397595, Aug 18, 1992
Filed:
Dec 19, 1991
Appl. No.:
7/810093
Inventors:
Thomas R. Cannan - Congers NY
Richard J. Hinchey - Thornwood NY
Assignee:
UOP - Des Plaines IL
International Classification:
C01B 3334
US Classification:
423328
Abstract:
Zeolite beta is synthesized hydrothermally from an aqueous reaction mixture containing the conventional reactive sources of SiO. sub. 2, Al. sub. 2 O. sub. 3 and Na. sub. 2 O tetraethylammonium halide as the source of the crystallization directing tetraethylammonium ions and diethanolamine as the agent providing the increased basicity necessary for the formation of zeolite beta crystals. Seed crystals of zeolite beta are optionally employed to shorten the crystallization period.

Process For Drying Ch.sub.2 F.sub.2 Refrigerant Utilizing Zeolite

View page
US Patent:
53478223, Sep 20, 1994
Filed:
Dec 23, 1993
Appl. No.:
8/171959
Inventors:
Maryellen Lavin - Tarrytown NY
Alan P. Cohen - New Fairfield CT
Nanette Greenlay - Port Chester NY
Thomas R. Cannan - Congers NY
Richard J. Hinchey - Thornwood NY
Assignee:
UOP - Des Plaines IL
International Classification:
F25B 4700
US Classification:
62 85
Abstract:
Difluoromethane (R32) is of current interest as a partial replacement for chlorodifluoromethane (R22) refrigerant heretofore widely used in vapor compression refrigeration systems. R32 has, however, proved to be more reactive than is desirable with the zeolite A adsorbent-desiccant compositions used in such systems to prevent corrosion and freeze-up problems. The sodium cation form of a zeolite having the crystal structure of zeolite B is found to be an effective adsorbent for that purpose and to be significantly less reactive with the R32.

Catalytic Cracking Catalyst

US Patent:
47118644, Dec 8, 1987
Filed:
Apr 11, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/721894
Inventors:
Regis J. Pellet - Croton-On-Hudson NY
Richard J. Hinchey - Thornwood NY
Assignee:
Union Carbide Corporation - Dandury CT
International Classification:
B01J 2908
US Classification:
502 65
Abstract:
Catalytic cracking catalysts, the process of their preparation and the process of their use.

Process For Preparing Low Silica Forms Of Zeolites Having The Faujasite Type Structure

View page
US Patent:
53667204, Nov 22, 1994
Filed:
Dec 23, 1993
Appl. No.:
8/171801
Inventors:
Alex J. Caglione - Nyack NY
Thomas R. Cannan - Congers NY
Nanette Greenlay - Putnam Valley NY
Richard J. Hinchey - Thornwood NY
Assignee:
UOP - Des Plaines IL
International Classification:
C01B 3334
US Classification:
423713
Abstract:
Low silica forms of faujasite-type zeolites are prepared from more siliceous forms of the same zeolite species by contacting the starting zeolite with a highly caustic concentrated sodium aluminate solution at elevated temperatures. In view of the fact that the process does not favor the formation of undesirable impurity phases such as zeolite A and thus does not require the presence of zeolite A nucleation inhibitors, the process is particularly advantageous in the production of forms of zeolite X having Si/Al. sub. 2 molar ratios below 2. 5.

Zeolite Lz-200

View page
US Patent:
43483690, Sep 7, 1982
Filed:
Jul 6, 1981
Appl. No.:
6/280377
Inventors:
Richard J. Hinchey - Thornwood NY
Willis W. Weber - South Salem NY
Assignee:
Union Carbide Corporation - Danbury CT
International Classification:
C01B 3328
US Classification:
423328
Abstract:
Crystalline synthetic zeolite, denoted "LZ-200", has an anhydrous composition in terms of mole-ratios of oxides of: 0. 9-1. 1 Na. sub. 2 O: Al. sub. 2 O. sub. 3 :1. 9-2. 4 SiO. sub. 2, while having a pore diameter somewhat smaller than that of potassium zeolite A, and is useful as an adsorbent and ion-exchanger.

Catalytic Cracking Process

US Patent:
48122262, Mar 14, 1989
Filed:
Oct 7, 1987
Appl. No.:
7/105218
Inventors:
Regis J. Pellet - Croton-On-Hudson NY
Richard J. Hinchey - Thornwood NY
Assignee:
UOP - Des Plains IL
International Classification:
B01J 2908
US Classification:
208120
Abstract:
The process for the catalytic cracking of a crude oil feedstock to produce lower boiling hydrocarbons which comprises contacting said feedstock with a zeolitic aluminosilicate which has a mole ratio of oxide in the dehydrated state of (0. 85-0. 1)M. sub. 2/n 0:11. sub. 2 O. sub. 3 : x SiO. sub. 2 wherein M is a cation having a valence of "n"; x has a value greater than 6. 0: having a X-ray powder diffraction pattern having at least the d-spacings of Table A; having extraneous silicon atoms in the crystal lattice in the form of framework SiO. sub. 4 tetrahedra, wherein said aluminosilicate has been ion-exchanged with Group IIIA cations. In addition, the Group IIIA exchanged LZ-210 may be heated for an effective temperature and for effective time in the presence of an effective amount of steam, and/or may be ion-exchanged with a multivalent cation other than Group IIIA, e. g. rare earth, to provide catalyst compositions.
