Actively involved in American Cancer Society's Look Good Feel Better, a program for women with cancer. I like to volunteer my time and professional services in helping anyway I can, in this case I volunteer at local hospitals and clinics where a group of women with cancer gather as I teach them how to care for their skin, hair, and nails while undergoing chemo or radiation treatment. It's very rewarding and I love to help.
I get involved as an animal advocate in helping bridge the gap between the dog owner and the holding facility with the goal to work towards rehabilitation and release. The main goal is offering a second chance to an animal that has been unjustly deemed vicious and dangerous. My current work is for a dog named Bandit, she has been on death row for 3 years+.
