Abstract:
A drain cleaner includes a rotatable drum and a cable having a first portion housed within the drum and a second portion extending outwardly of the drum along a cable axis. The cable is rotatable about the cable axis. The drain cleaner also includes a cable feed mechanism for feeding the cable out of the rotatable drum in an axial direction along the cable axis. The cable feed mechanism includes a plurality of feed members selectively engagable with the cable, and a drive gear surrounding the plurality of feed members. The drive gear is engaged with the plurality of feed members. Rotation of the drive gear moves the plurality of feed members into engagement with the cable.

Abstract:
A drain clearing device includes an elongated shaft having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The elongated shaft has a first set of barbs spaced apart along a length of the shaft on a first side of the shaft between the first and second ends and a second set of barbs spaced apart along the length of the shaft on a second side of the shaft between the first and second ends. The drain clearing device further includes a collecting member having a fixed end and a free end. The fixed end is coupled to the elongated shaft proximate the first end and the free end is movable relative to the fixed end from a collapsed position to an extended position, in which the elongated shaft is substantially surrounded by the collecting member. The collecting member is configured to contain debris from a drain.

Abstract:
A modular garage door opener system and method including a garage door opener having a motor that is configured to be coupled to a garage door to open and close the garage door. The garage door opener includes a first accessory port including a first accessory mounting interface and a second accessory port disposed on the garage door opener including a second accessory mounting interface. An accessory device including a first mounting interface engages the first accessory mounting interface to couple the accessory device to the first accessory port. The accessory device may be disengaged from the first accessory mounting interface and then engage the second accessory mounting interface to couple the accessory device to the second accessory port. Additionally, a second accessory device may engage the first accessory port after disengagement of the accessory device.
