Padma Mott-Valdevit is a long-time resident of Las Cruces and loves the area. She came here in the mid-80's to take a year off between boarding school and college and found that she loved the area, the people, the desert and most of all the green chili! She now makes her home with her husband and daughter on their small farm on the edge of the west mesa and feels that she lives very close to heaven.
