I started sewing at the age of seven. My Barbie doll needed clothing. At that time, Barbie dolls only came with a bathing suit. So I took my Mom's blue satin party dress and cut a very large hole in the center of it. Needless to say my Mom wasn't exactly thrilled about what I did. But, it didn't change anything.
