NEW YORK HOME TEXTILES SHOW ANNOUNCES WINTER 2007 BEST NEW PRODUCT AWARDS
Best New Product Award honors were presented in three categories: Bed, Dining and Home Accessories. Winners and finalists were selected by a panel of editors based on innovative design, product solution, aesthetic appeal, creativity and new material or technology.
Winner; Lucinda Lee (Honolulu, HI) for its silk, hand-embroidered Wild Iris ensemble for the bed, window and bath. The House of Andrachelle designed and executed the drapes for the winning Wild Iris Collection. HOA also has created a private line for Lucinda Lee’s Aurora Collection.
“These winners all stand out in a competitive field of outstanding home fashion products,” said Rita Malek, show manager. “The New York Home Textiles Show is honored to have a role in bringing these innovative new products to the market.”
This year’s judges were: Wanda Jankowski, editor, LDB Interior Textiles; Jennifer Marks, editor-in-chief, Home Textiles Today;
