Abstract:
A hydrogen generator () is provided which comprises (a) a chamber () having a hydrogen-containing material () disposed therein; (b) a first fluidic pathway () containing said chamber, said first fluidic pathway including an upstream portion which is upstream of said chamber, and a downstream portion which is downstream from said chamber; (c) a second fluidic pathway () which does not include said chamber, and which is adjoined to said first fluidic pathway downstream from said chamber; and (d) a reservoir () containing a liquid medium in which said hydrogen-containing material is soluble, said reservoir being in fluidic communication with at least one of said first and second fluidic pathways.

Abstract:
A thrust bearing system for a roller cone rock bit includes at least one roller cone disposed on a leg having an air channel therethrough, the thrust bearing system including a primary thrust bearing surface on the leg configured to contact a corresponding primary bearing surface on the roller cone, wherein the primary thrust bearing surface on the leg includes at least one air circulation port in fluid communication with the air channel. The thrust bearing system further includes a secondary thrust bearing surface on the leg configured to contact a corresponding secondary bearing surface on the roller cone, wherein the secondary thrust bearing surface on the leg includes at least two air circulation ports located at specified locations in the secondary bearing surface and in communication with the air channel, and wherein a first circulation port is located in an upper half of the secondary thrust bearing surface and a second circulation port is located in a lower half of the secondary thrust bearing surface.

Abstract:
A drill bit having a bit body, a plurality of blades extending radially from the bit body, a plurality of cutter pockets disposed on the plurality of blades, at least one rolling cutter disposed in one of the cutter pockets, wherein each rolling cutter has a substrate, a cutting face, a cutting edge, and a side surface, and at least one blocker positioned adjacent to each of the at least one rolling cutters on a leading face of the blade, wherein each blocker has a retention end and an attachment end is disclosed. The retention end of each blocker is positioned adjacent to a portion of the cutting face of each rolling cutter to retain the rolling cutter in the cutter pocket and the attachment end is attached to a portion of the blade.
