Abstract:
A pressure application and removal device is provided for the purpose of assisting insertion of contact lenses. The device comprises a frame portion, two contact lens holders, a pressurizing assembly, and a liquid delivery assembly. The frame portion has the structure of standard eyeglasses frames and rests on a user's ears and nose. The contact lens holders are formed of wash cups that retain contact lenses along the inside of their concave surface. Fluid conduits extend from an apex of the wash cups to a flexible ball in the center of the device. When said ball is depressed, a positive pressure or vacuum is generated to facilitate insertion and removal of contact lenses to or from a user's eye. A second flexible ball may be filled with liquid. When the ball is compressed liquid flows through a second set of conduits into the eye of a user.

Abstract:
A portable headset for equalizing air pressure across the tympanic membrane of a user's ears. The device comprises two earpieces secured at opposing ends of a headband. The earpieces are cup-shaped housings containing a fan and a speaker. A mesh screen covers the open portion of the housing to protect the user's ear from contact with the fan blades. Additionally, a cushion is disposed along the perimeter of the housing to buffer the user's ear from the device. When the device is turned on, the fans rotate and air is pushed into or pulled out of the ear canals. Rate of rotation and direction of rotation are controlled via at least one pressurization selection dial. Thus the air pressure can be changed as a plane ascends or descends through the atmosphere.

Abstract:
A handheld illuminated warning sign including front and back translucent plastic members, each having a predetermined size and a predetermined shape, connected together to form the sign. At least one of the translucent plastic members having a predetermined color and warning indicia thereon. A mechanism is engageable with each of the translucent plastic members at a first portion thereof for securing them together. A generally hollow handle member, having a predetermined length, is engageable with a second portion of such translucent plastic members for holding the sign. A light is disposed at one end of such handle and between the translucent plastic members for lighting the sign. A battery is disposed within the handle and electrically connected to the light and a switch on such handle is connected between the light and battery for turning on and shutting off such light.
