Abstract:
Apparatus for alternately dispensing toilet tissue from coreless rolls of toilet tissue includes a dispenser having a cover movable between two positions to alternately expose rolls of coreless toilet tissue within the dispenser. A partition having an opening is affixed to the cover and movable with the cover. A pair of coreless roll spindles are mounted within the dispenser in axial alignment with one another and with the partition opening. The partition opening alternately receives the coreless roll spindles when the cover moves between the two positions. The disclosed apparatus can be used to retrofit an existing dispenser normally employed to sequentially dispense toilet tissue from two adjacent rolls of toilet tissue having cores.

Abstract:
Apparatus for dispensing sheet material from a roll of sheet material includes a base member, a mandrel connected to the base member, and a shield movable relative to the base member between first and second locations. When the shield is in one of the locations it will prevent end-wise movement of the roll on the mandrel and removal of the roll. A lock prevents movement of the shield until the roll is at least partially depleted during dispensing.

Abstract:
Apparatus for dispensing individual sheets from the center of a coreless roll product comprised of a plurality of the sheets forming a wound web. A dispenser nozzle is connected to a support for supporting the coreless roll. The dispenser nozzle has interconnecting portions, one of which has a truncated cone-like configuration and the other of which has a cylindrical configuration. The portion of the nozzle having the cylindrical configuration is located at the exit opening of the nozzle to provide increased contact area for sheets passing therethrough to reduce wear and extend the life of the nozzle.

Abstract:
Dispenser apparatus for roll products such as paper towels which includes a housing and a dispenser nozzle through which projects the lead end of a roll product disposed within the housing. The apparatus includes an internal shield located in the interior of the housing to protect the roll product from water or other liquid entering the housing. An external shield is disposed about the dispenser nozzle to protect the dispenser nozzle and the roll product lead end from water or other liquid and allow manual access to the lead end.
