US Patent:
RE306959, Aug 4, 1981
Filed:
Mar 31, 1980
Appl. No.:
6/135368
Inventors:
Felix Transport - New York NY
International Classification:
B65D 552
US Classification:
206 4524
Abstract:
A collapsible easel support is provided for supporting a display on a surface at an angle. The display has a back panel which has hinged to its bottom edge a stay flap. Two slits extend from the interior of the stay flap to the interior of the back panel. A first score extends between said parallel slits. A second score in the stay flap extends between the two slits. A third score in the back panel extends between the two slits. The first and second scores define a stay panel to fold against said stay flap and said first and third scores define a support panel to support the easel at an angle to the surface.

Display Device Having A Collapsible Easel

US Patent:
43793738, Apr 12, 1983
Filed:
May 19, 1981
Appl. No.:
6/265106
Inventors:
Felix Transport - New York NY
International Classification:
G09F 112
US Classification:
401521
Abstract:
A display device formed having a front face and a collapsible easel is provided. The collapsible easel includes a guide panel. A support panel has first and second edges, the first edge of which is hinged to said guide panel. A stay panel is provided, which has first and second edges, the second edge of which is hinged to the display device and the first edge which is hinged to the second edge of said support panel. A guide panel has at least one tongue which rides in a groove formed by a flap hinged to the front face and folded over to lie against the reverse side of the front face. With the tongue riding in the groove the guide means moves from a first position at which the stay panel and support panel are substantially coplanar to a second position at which said support panel and stay panel form an angle to each other. The hinge between said support panel and stay panel and the bottom edge of said front face form two legs to support the display device at a predetermined angle to a surface.

Collapsible Three-Dimensional Hollow Ornamental Structures

View page
US Patent:
60064579, Dec 28, 1999
Filed:
Mar 2, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/033123
Inventors:
Felix Transport - New York NY
International Classification:
G09F 100
US Classification:
4012414
Abstract:
A polyhedrally shaped collapsible ornamental hollow structure having a fully enclosed hollow interior is made from a blank cut from a single sheet of folding board or like sheet material, the blank having a dual cruciform (Greek cross-like) configuration and being provided with a plurality of longitudinal, transverse and oblique scores to enable it to be folded and glued. The hollow structure remains in the collapsed state as long as a restraining pressure is applied thereto in a direction substantially perpendicular to the opposite front and back faces of the hollow structure, but when such restraining pressure is removed the hollow structure is automatically deployed into its expanded state by virtue of a compressive force applied circumferentially to the hollow structure by an elastic band equatorially encircling the sides of the hollow structure. The blank at the intersections of its respective longitudinal and transverse blank portions has respective central square regions defining the front and back faces of the hollow structure, and each central square region is surrounded by a series of outer right triangular regions defining the side faces of the hollow structure. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the central square region defining at least the front face of the hollow structure is provided with slits in its corner regions to permit a photograph to be releasably attached to the hollow structure.

Felix Transport - New York NY
International Classification:
B65D 552
US Classification:
206 4524
Abstract:
A display device having a collapsible easel support for supporting a display device on a surface at a predetermined angle comprising a back panel having a bottom edge. A stay flap is hinged to the bottom edge of the back panel. A support panel and stay panel are hinged together, the support panel being hinged to the interior of the back panel and the stay panel being hinged to the other edge of the stay flap. The stay panel has a glue flap, which is hinged to the stay flap, and a stay leaf which is hinged to the support panel.

Collapsible Ornamental Solids

US Patent:
43194184, Mar 16, 1982
Filed:
Jul 28, 1980
Appl. No.:
6/172987
Inventors:
Felix Transport - New York NY
International Classification:
G09F 100
US Classification:
401241
Abstract:
A versatile collapsible ornamental solid having a fully enclosed hollow interior is disclosed. The collapsible ornamental solid is cut from a single sheet of paper or similar material, folded and bonded, and encircled by an elastic band. Additionally, other collapsible ornamental solids having hollow interiors, generally in the shape of spires, are disclosed. These can be bonded to the basic collapsible ornamental solid and the combination collapsed so as to be substantially flat. The collapsible ornamental solids remain in the collapsed state as long as restraining pressure is applied substantially perpendicular to the faces of the collapsed ornamental solids, but automatically deploy by reason of the encircling elastic band when such restraining pressure is removed.
