The present invention relates to fluoroolefin compositions. The fluoroolefin compositions of the present invention are useful as refrigerants or heat transfer fluids and in processes for producing cooling or heat. Additionally, the fluoroolefin compositions of the present invention may be used to replace currently used refrigerant or heat transfer fluid compositions that have higher global warming potential.

The present invention relates to compositions comprising at least one fluoroolefin and an effective amount of stabilizer that may be a terpene, terpenoid or fullerene; or a mixture of a terpene, terpenoid or fullerene with other stabilizers. A process is disclosed for making RRRCCRRF wherein R is selected from the group consisting of CH, CHF, CHF, and F(CF)CHCHwhere n is an integer from 1 to 10, each Ris independently selected from the group consisting of H, Cl, F and CF, and each Ris independently selected from the group consisting of H, F and CF.
