Helical Wire Heating Coil Assemblies And Methods For Assembling Helical Wire Heating Coil Assemblies

View page
US Patent:
8410406, Apr 2, 2013
Filed:
Sep 3, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/203728
Inventors:
Edward A. Kutz - Muskego WI, US
Assignee:
Nova Coil, Inc. - Franklin WI
International Classification:
H05B 3/06
H01C 3/14
US Classification:
219542, 219536, 219537, 219548
Abstract:
Helical wire heating coil assemblies and methods of assembling helical heating coil assemblies are provided. In one example, a helical wire heating coil assembly includes first and second support frames that are detachably coupled together by a first plurality of insulating standoffs coupled to the first support frame, a second plurality of insulating standoffs coupled to the second support frame, and a helical wire heating coil coupled to both the first plurality of insulating standoffs and the second plurality of insulating standoffs.

US Patent:
20080173636, Jul 24, 2008
Filed:
Nov 7, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/936407
Inventors:
Edward A. Kutz - Franklin WI, US
International Classification:
H05B 3/06
US Classification:
219521, 219531, 219536
Abstract:
An apparatus, arrangement and method for supporting a helical wire coil heating element is provided. The apparatus includes a generally circular support frame having an open center portion and a plurality of supporting arms extending radially inward into the open center portion. Insulating standoffs are supported on the supporting arms such that the standoffs extend into the open center portion of the frame. A helical wire coil heating element is attached to each end of the standoff. An arrangement for supporting a helical wire coil heating element includes a substantially closed elongated tubular wrapper having an open interior. One or more generally circular support frames are arranged in the open interior of the wrapper and support insulating standoffs. A method for assembling an arrangement for a supporting a helical wire coil heating element is further provided.

US Patent:
20120325800, Dec 27, 2012
Filed:
Jun 23, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/167187
Inventors:
Edward A. Kutz - Muskego WI, US
International Classification:
H05B 3/02
H05B 3/00
US Classification:
219481, 29611
Abstract:
The supporting frame for a helical wire heating coil assembly is initially formed in a straight linear manner using an angular cross section shape and including integrally formed linear arrays of clips for mounting insulating stand-offs, attachment tabs for mounting the assembly and open notches that permit the frame to be subsequently formed into a circular or other arcuate shape.

Tamper Evidencing Metal Foil Container Closure

US Patent:
20200277100, Sep 3, 2020
Filed:
May 15, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/875062
Inventors:
- Woodland Hills CA, US
Rowdy Holstine - Hartford WI, US
Edward Kutz - Muskego WI, US
Gerald James Baker - Wauwatosa WI, US
Alvin Widitora - Los Angeles CA, US
Scott Stella - Madison WI, US
International Classification:
B65D 17/353
B65D 17/00
Abstract:
A tamper evident metal foil closure for a container which provides visual evidence of tampering in the form of damage to the metal foil (e.g. tearing) and evidence of temperature tampering of the metal foil when heat is used to remove and reseal the metal foil. Containers sealed with this novel metal foil closure make it more difficult to tamper with or remove the container contents and then return the container for a refund.
