The Mendenhalls have served Portland Metro communties for a total of 24 years between them. Their main emphasis in the business of real estate has been to provide a friendly, consultive approach with clients that has garnered repeat business and solid referrals over their years in the industry. When buyers elect to use their services, they find a "can do" attitude and a relationship that often turns into friendships. Staging a home is a priority to make sure it is ready to be seen by potential buyers. And the Mendenhalls want to make sure homes are seen nationally through search engines on the internet that will showcase homes to bring buyers, whether local or acroos the nation. Simply put, David and Victoria have honed their real estate knowledge and skills so that both buyers and sellers know when the transaction is finished they have been served well.

Abstract:
A method for delivering keystrokes to descendants of an inactive window includes remembering a descendant of the inactive window as the next focus owner when the descendant receives a focus-in event, creating a focus proxy for the inactive window and issuing a request to set focus to the focus proxy, marking the next focus owner as the true focus owner when the focus proxy receives a focus-in event, and directing the focus-in event received by the focus proxy to the true focus owner.

System And Method For Streaming Video Over A Wireless Network

View page
US Patent:
20090254948, Oct 8, 2009
Filed:
Apr 3, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/062062

Abstract:
A system and method are described for streaming video to a wireless device. For example, one embodiment of a computer-implemented method for providing a multimedia stream to a wireless device over a wireless network comprises: receiving a request for a video stream from a wireless device; requesting the video stream from a streaming server on behalf of the wireless device; streaming the video stream from the streaming server and storing the video stream or portions thereof in a buffer; streaming the video stream from the buffer to the wireless device; detecting that the wireless device has lost communication with the wireless network; sending a command to the streaming server to pause the streaming of the video stream and maintaining a network connection to the remote streaming server; detecting that the wireless device has regained communication with the wireless network; determining a point within the video stream at which the wireless device lost communication; and resuming streaming of the video stream to the wireless device at the determined point within the video stream.

Rest Cot Assembly

View page
US Patent:
49583905, Sep 25, 1990
Filed:
Nov 4, 1988
Appl. No.:
7/267525
Inventors:
David L. Mendenhall - Wilsonville OR
Assignee:
Holbrook-Patterson, Inc. - Coldwater MI
International Classification:
A47C 1900
US Classification:

Abstract:
An improved rest cot is provided which includes a plurality of elongate support members arranged to form a frame having a canvas or cloth panel secured thereto. The ends of the support members are attached to each other using specially designed corner pieces. Each corner piece includes a downwardly extending leg constructed of multiple tubular sections. The leg of one corner piece is designed to nest within the leg of another corner piece so that storage of the cots in a stacked configuration is facilitated. Each corner piece also includes two open attachment sections each designed to receive one support member. The attachment sections individually include multiple engagement members sized to receive a support member. Once a support member is received between the engagement members, they are urged together against the support member using a collar which is secured to the corner piece by a mechanical fastener.

A media device is configured to implement the dynamic switching. The media device, coupled to the HDMI/ARC interface, receives an audio stream over the HDMI/ARC interface and transmits the audio stream to speakers on a first network. The media device determines that the first network is overloaded and identifies a clean channel of a second network for transmitting the audio stream without an overload condition. The media device switches itself and connected speakers to the second network for a clean audio stream. The media device switches itself and connected speakers to the first network when there is no longer a need to be on the second network or when there is benefit to be on the first network.
