Framing Tool

View page
US Patent:
7546687, Jun 16, 2009
Filed:
Jun 7, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/759496
Inventors:
David M. Haala - Sleepy Eye MN, US
International Classification:
B43L 7/12
US Classification:
33415, 33418, 33465, 33478, 33529, 33535
Abstract:
Apparatus using two hinged L-shaped squares to determine perpendicular with respect to a plane. Placing the apparatus against a plane with the squares offset angularly with respect to each other and placing an object to be secured to a plane adjacent to the hinge within fins parallel to the hinge permits securing the object perpendicular to the plane with one hand while holding the apparatus and object with the other hand.

Vacuum Remediation System

View page
US Patent:
56715463, Sep 30, 1997
Filed:
Dec 14, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/572551
Inventors:
David M. Haala - Sleepy Eye MN
International Classification:
F26B 1330
US Classification:
34 92
Abstract:
A vacuum remediation system for remediating various devices and apparatus is shown. A moisture evaporation device including a vacuum system is described to provide a reduced level of pressure on the apparatus being remediated. A control circuit controls the operation of the moisture vaporization device and includes a timed control operation to limit and actuate operation of the remediation process. A resilient member having a vacuum aperture is described in combination with a removable encapsulation chamber having a fluid-sealing surface to cooperate with the resilient member. A vibration system is adapted to impart low levels of vibration to the apparatus being remediated. The operation is such that unwanted moisture is vaporized through action of a reduced atmospheric pressure produced by the pump, and the vibration in conjunction with the aspiration removes unwanted moisture and contamination particles from the apparatus being remediated.

Live Fowl Conveyor

View page
US Patent:
51349710, Aug 4, 1992
Filed:
Mar 4, 1991
Appl. No.:
7/664025
Inventors:
Paul M. Krienke - Sleepy Eye MN
David M. Haala - Sleepy Eye MN
International Classification:
A01K 3700
B65G 1510
US Classification:
119 972
Abstract:
A conveyor for supporting live fowl to be inoculated, iseminated, debeaked, or to have another operation performed on them. The conveyor includes a base, a pair of spindles mounted to the base, one at each of opposite ends, and a generally horizontally-disposed moving conveyor surface supported by the base. The conveyor surface is defined by an endless web encircling the spindles and is intended to receive thereon fowl which are to have an operation performed on them. The conveyor also includes apparatus for holding each bird in a defined position on the conveyor surface, including a pair of elongated, generally-parallel members spaced upward from the conveyor surface to define a slot therebetween. The elongated members are disposed such that the vertical distance between them can be varied.
