Looking for an innovative and diverse Real Estate Professional? Here is your answer: I came from Europe to the United States in 1987 and live in Walnut Creek since 1993. Prior to that I lived for 6 years in Phoenix Arizona. My husband and I bought an Eichler Home here in Walnut Creek in 1996. Not knowing anything about these types of home or the history on them really sparked my interest. More on that in my upcoming Blogs. I mostly grew up in Nuremberg Germany even though I was born in Austria. My parents owned a restaurant and were some of the most hard working people I've ever known. I was tought excellent customer service skills and outstanding work ethics from an early age on. In my younger 20's I worked as a Buyer in the Mens Department for an upscale Department Store in Nuremberg and after I came to the United States earned my degree in Interior Designand worked in San Francisco at the Dsign Center for some time. Believe me, now that comes in really handy when helping clients to declutter and de-personalize their home. For the past 12 years and prior to obtaining my Real Estate License, I've been working in the Real Estate Industry teaching Risk Management Workshops in Real Estate Offices, selling Home Warranty Products for the nation's largest Home Warranty Company and also helped many Real Estate Brokers with their Errors & Omission Insurance as a licensed CA Insurance Agent. Trust me, all of these work experiences helped my hone my english, customer service and most of all negotiating skills. All of them I would never trade and made me the diverse and innovative Real Estate Professional I consider myself to be. My next goal is to aquire the Certified International Property Specialist Designation/International Brokerage which is an extensive program taught in part by the National Association of Realtors. It focuses on Markets all around the world. Which for me is perfect, I like to learn more and educate myself about global economic markets and hopefully help people to relocate to/from the United States.
