View page
US Patent:
51691167, Dec 8, 1992
Filed:
Jul 19, 1991
Appl. No.:
7/732821
Inventors:
Carl A. Bergetz - River Forest IL
International Classification:
F16M 300
US Classification:
248680
Abstract:
A mounting fixture for an electrical appliance such as a television receiver includes a mounting lug with a substantially planar support member and a generally cylindrical base member extending therefrom, wherein the base member and support member are integrally formed with each other and are further interconnected by radial ribs integrally formed with said base and support members. The base member may include either a fastener integral therewith or a fastener receptacle disposed in a boss, which are used to attach the mounting lug to a support surface within a depression thereon by way of either a fastening nut or screw. The support member further includes a layer of contact pressure sensitive adhesive which permits the mounting lug to be easily secured to the cabinet or exterior of the electrical appliance.

US Patent:
52094456, May 11, 1993
Filed:
Sep 16, 1991
Appl. No.:
7/760098
Inventors:
Carl A. Bergetz - River Forest IL
International Classification:
F16M 1300
US Classification:
248551
Abstract:
A security mounting assembly for an electrical appliance, such as a color television set includes a television cabinet having an engagement member formed therewith and a separate support member having a retaining flange which receives the engagement member. The engagement member may include a lug or foot integrally formed in the television cabinet and extending therefrom. The retaining flange extends from the support member to form a lip extending along a frontal edge thereof which defines a recess into which the engagement lug or foot projects. The cabinet is held in place on the support member by a series of fasteners and is held in such a manner that the cabinet engagement members may not be readily removed from the support member retaining flange.

Mounting Assembly With Forced Absorption Characteristics

View page
US Patent:
54875242, Jan 30, 1996
Filed:
Apr 21, 1994
Appl. No.:
8/230893
Inventors:
Carl A. Bergetz - River Forest IL
Assignee:
Peerless Industries, Inc. - Melrose Park IL
International Classification:
F16M 1300
US Classification:
248613
Abstract:
A mounting assembly for an electrical appliance such as television receiver or the like that has a mounting arm that extends from a mounting bracket affixed to a support surface includes a forced or vibration absorption assembly. This assembly includes an interface member which separates the mounting arm from the mounting bracket and mounting surface and absorbs forces to vibrations and other dynamic loading upon the structure or mounting assembly. The interface member is compressible and permits the mounting arm to have an articulation angle of much greater than would be obtained by a rigid mounting arm rigidly attached to a mounting bracket.

View page
US Patent:
51276178, Jul 7, 1992
Filed:
May 30, 1991
Appl. No.:
7/707679
Inventors:
Carl A. Bergetz - River Forest IL
Assignee:
Peerless Industries, Inc. - Melrose Park IL
International Classification:
E04G 300
US Classification:
248278
Abstract:
A mounting assembly for an electrical appliance such as a television receiver or the like that has a mounting bracket which is capable of being mounted either on a horizontal surface, such as a ceiling, or on a vertical surface, such as a wall. The mounting bracket rotatably receives a support arm which extends from the mounting bracket to a support tray upon which the appliance is mounted. The support arm has a generally vertical first portion and a generally horizontal second portion. An extension of the support arm second portion extends transversely from the support arm and supportingly contacts the supper tray, which is fixed to a pair of opposing endcaps of the extension. An adjustment means interconnects the support tray with the support arm and permits the elevation of the support tray to be selectively adjusted.
