Abstract:
The present invention is directed to novel anti-cancer compounds of the formula. ##STR1## wherein X is CN, R. sub. 4 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; and R. sub. 5 is lower alkyl, lower cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, monosubstituted aryl, disubstituted aryl, aryl lower alkyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl lower alkyl, or heterocyclic ring, with the proviso that when X is CN, and R. sub. 4 is hydrogen, then R. sub. 5 is not CH. sub. 3, C. sub. 6 H. sub. 5, or, p-nitrophenyl. R. sub. 4, R. sub. 5 and N taken together form a heterocyclic ring.
