Abstract:
A method and a device are disclosed including a clothing article with an embedded Data Measurement and Processing Module configured to measure a dynamic characteristic of a predefined significant impact to the user of the clothing article, and further including a video capturing device which provides video scenes related to the impact. In various embodiments, the embedded data collection and measurement module includes a multi-axis accelerometer and a processor, such as a microcontroller, coupled with the accelerometer to calculate a magnitude and direction of the imparted force, and a video camera that is configured to relate its different captured scenes to predefined significant impacts within each scene. In other various embodiments, the processor and/or the video capturing device may communicate collected and/or calculated data to a storage device and/or an external host computer for future analysis and use.

Abstract:
Tie-wraps of practically infinite length are disclosed that can be cut to any desirable size at the time of use. These tie-wraps allow wrapping of any size object and comprise a flexible strap part and a locking part, both of which can be reused numerous times. To use the tie-wrap, the user cuts a piece from the flexible strap bundle and inserts its ends into a locking part and pulls one or both ends of the strap until it is tightly wrapped around the object. In other embodiments the ends of the strap may enter the locking part from one side or from multiple sides. In alternative embodiments the locking part or the strap may have a single pawl or multiple pawls which are made of plastic, metal, or other materials. Disclosed tie-wraps may be used, in addition to wrapping, to form handles or tag holders for the wrapped object.

Abstract:
A page number indicating bookmarker capable of being selectively attached to a planar surface in a book which enables a reader to record a desired page number. The page number indicating bookmarker includes plurality of digit indicators which may be selectively attached in a side-by-side manner to any planar surface in the book. Each digit indicator is manipulated to record one digit of the desired page number. Each digit indicator includes an elongated body with a set of digits 0 to 9 aligned longitudinally on the top surface thereof. A collar with a central cutout is attached to the elongated body which slides over the elongated body. The central cutout enables the user to view a digit printed on the top surfaced of the elongated body disposed directly below the collar. In another embodiment of the invention, a plurality of digit indicators are used in combination with one topic indicator which enables a user to record the page number of important topics or subjects found in the book.
