Abstract:
A system for controlling big data transfer from a vehicle to a server includes a plurality of vehicle sensors located on the vehicle and configured to detect vehicle data. The system further includes a memory located on the vehicle and configured to store the vehicle data. The system further includes a network access device located on the vehicle and configured to communicate with the server. The system further includes an electronic control unit (ECU) located on the vehicle, coupled to the plurality of vehicle sensors, the memory, and the network access device. The ECU is designed to analyze the vehicle data to identify prioritized vehicle data and other vehicle data within the vehicle data. The ECU is further designed to compress the prioritized vehicle data. The ECU is further designed to control the network access device to transmit the compressed prioritized vehicle data to the server.

Abstract:
A virtual assistance system for a vehicle is provided. The virtual assistance system includes one or more processors, one or more memory modules communicatively coupled to the one or more processors, an input device communicatively coupled to the one or more processors, an output device communicatively coupled to the one or more processors, and machine readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules. The virtual assistance system detects a duration of a vehicle stop. When the duration of the stop is greater than a predetermined threshold, the system requests a reason for the stop, receives the reason for the stop, determines a location, date, and time of the stop, and stores a record comprising data associated with the stop.

Abstract:
Systems, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to collecting information from a vehicle for damage assessment. In one embodiment, a method includes, in response to receiving a ride request from a user, identifying attributes associated with the user in relation to a ride. The method includes monitoring the user and the vehicle to collect, from one or more vehicle systems of the vehicle, vehicle state information associated with the ride including analyzing sensor data using at least image recognition to generate the vehicle state information. The method includes generating a ride report specifying at least changes in a condition of the vehicle according to the vehicle state information and scoring the vehicle state information according to a heuristic to assess an impact of the user on the vehicle. The method includes electronically communicating the ride report to provide a real-time assessment of the user on the vehicle.

Abstract:
Methods and systems for identifying geographic locations where a vehicle carriage of a vehicle may be scraped. The system includes a transceiver of the vehicle configured to receive scraping location data indicating one or more scraping locations, each scraping location being a geographic location where a risk of scraping the vehicle carriage exists. The system also includes a location sensor configured to detect a current location of the vehicle. The system also includes an electronic control unit (ECU) of the vehicle configured to determine whether the vehicle is approaching a scraping location of the one or more scraping locations based on the current location of the vehicle and the scraping location data. A Mobility-as-a-Service (“MaaS”) system and related method for locating at least one MaaS asset includes one or more processors and a memory device in communication with the one or more processors. The memory device stores information receiving module, a location module, and a map generating module. The map generating module includes instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to receive information from at least one secondary asset having an electronic sensing device. The location module includes instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to determine a location of the MaaS asset based on the information from the secondary asset. The map generating module includes instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to generate an electronic three-dimensional map of an area surrounding the location of the MaaS asset and place a MaaS asset indicator on the electronic three-dimensional map.
