Abstract:
A tibial tuberosity advancement implant and method includes a spacer body made of biocompatible, biodegradable material and having a main section with at least one bony growth orifice therethrough and a proximal slot and at least one fin extending from the main section by at least one connector. A metal clip is slideable into the proximal slot of the spacer body main section and includes spaced screw holes for securing the spacer body to the advanced tibial tuberosity and the tibia when the implant is placed in the space between the advanced tibial tuberosity and the tibia.

Abstract:
A fixation plate includes a head section, a curved section, and a tail section. The head section includes one or more head apertures formed therethrough. The head apertures are configured to allow screws to respectively pass therethrough at varying angles to attach the head section to a first bone segment. The head section has a bottom surface that is configured to sit flush with the first bone segment. The curved section extends from the head section. The tail section extends from the curved section. The tail section includes one or more tail apertures formed therethrough. The tail apertures are configured to allow screws to respectively pass therethrough at varying angles to attach the tail section to a second bone segment.

Abstract:
A veterinary hip resurfacing prosthetic system includes a femoral cap and an acetabular cup. The cup shell has a thickness of less than 2 mm and a liner in the shell has a thickness of less than 2.5 mm in order to accommodate a larger femoral cap. Further included are features for preventing rotation of the liner relative to the shell, for releasably locking the liner in the shell, and for accessing the liner to remove it from the shell.
