Abstract:
The invention described is a pressure device for applying pressure to the whole of the chest area of a patient and for reducing the movement and dehesion of the sternum and chest incision after open heart and chest surgeries. The pressure device has a casing substantially in the form of a pillow, the casing having opposing lateral sides, a back side for application against the chest of the patient, the back side having top corners, a frontal side substantially on the opposite side of the back side of the casing, the frontal side having a top attachment portion and a bottom attachment portion. A membrane layer attached to the top attachment portion and the bottom attachment portion of the frontal side of the casing, the outer wall of the frontal side and the inner wall of the membrane layer forming a sleeve for receiving the hands and forearms of a patient. A contiguous strap attached to the top corners of the back side for attachment of the casing around the neck of the patient for immediate proximity of the pressure device to the patients chest incision area. A gripping handle is provided for engagement by the patients hands.

Abstract:
The invention discloses a quick release jack stand assembly for releasable attachment to the foot board of a scooter wherein the jack stand assembly further comprises a side bracket having a scooter engagement track, wherein the scooter engagement track substantially conforms to the shape of the scooter footboard, the scooter engagement track further comprising a releasable attachment mechanism device for securing the scooter foot board to the scooter engagement track of the jack stand assembly; and a prop bar for engaging a ground surface when the scooter is to be maintained in an upright position when the prop bar is in a down rest position. In an embodiment, the scooter engagement track is slidable along the length of the scooter foot board when the attachment mechanism is in a release position and can be positioned along any portion of the scooter foot board.

Abstract:
A disposable air expandable bib, for protection against accidental spills while consuming food or drinks, is shown. The bib preferably has a closed end air channel for receiving air. The closed end air channel having at least one opening for air inlet, wherein upon blowing air into the air channel, the bib expands. The bib also preferably has end ties for engaging the neck of a person and holding the bib in place. In a preferred embodiment, the bib further comprising a napkin situated closer to the side adjacent to one's mouth. In another preferred embodiment, the bib also further comprises at least one pocket for storage of food or other material.
