Systems and methods of transmitting data from one location to another location that can be used in a number of applications including, but not limited to, secure transmission of data from one location to another and secure data backup. In one embodiment, a data file is split into pieces and the pieces are placed randomly in a diverse mesh of online cloud storage providers.
